Privacy Policy
Effective date: 27 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how iNoon handles information. iNoon is published by Cosmic Noon PTY LTD in Western Australia.
1. Summary
iNoon is designed to keep content from connected devices on your Mac. Cosmic Noon PTY LTD does not receive your device backups, messages, photos, contacts, files, or other content from connected devices through the normal operation of iNoon.
The limited exceptions are information you deliberately send, including an optional crash report, support correspondence, or information sent directly to an external AI provider that you configure. iNoon does not sell personal information or use crash reports for advertising, marketing, or tracking.
2. Local First Design
iNoon runs on your Mac. Device information, backups, exports, local logs, settings, search state, and related app data are stored locally on your Mac or in folders you choose.
Cosmic Noon PTY LTD does not operate an iNoon cloud service that receives content from your connected devices. Local processing is separate from the optional crash reporting service described below.
3. Device Data
iNoon may read information from iPhone and iPad devices you connect or authorise. That information may include device identifiers, device metadata, backups, files, media, messages, notes, contacts, call history, browser data, and other content that you choose to access through the application.
This data remains on your Mac unless you choose to export it, copy it, back it up somewhere else, share it, or send selected information to an external service that you configure.
4. Artificial Intelligence
iNoon may include optional AI features. Some AI features may run locally on your Mac. Other AI features may use external AI providers that you configure.
If you choose to use an external AI provider, prompts, selected device content, metadata, generated context, attachments, or other material you submit may be sent directly from your Mac to that provider. The provider's own terms, privacy policy, security practices, retention rules, and fees apply.
Cosmic Noon PTY LTD does not receive or proxy that AI content through its own servers and does not control how external AI providers process data after you choose to send it to them. You can avoid sending information to an external AI provider by not configuring or using that provider.
5. Optional Crash Reports
If iNoon closes unexpectedly, PLCrashReporter may save a technical crash report locally on your Mac. On the next launch, iNoon displays the report and lets you review it, copy it, dismiss it, or send it. Nothing is sent unless you select Send Report. Dismissing a report has no effect on your ability to use iNoon.
A submitted report includes the crash date, the iNoon version and build number, the macOS version, and a technical crash log. The log can contain application, system, process, binary, thread, stack trace, register, and error information. If you enter an optional description of what you were doing, that description is also submitted. The HTTPS service and its hosting infrastructure may process network information, including an IP address and request metadata, to receive and protect the submission.
Crash reports are not designed to include content from connected devices. However, technical logs and text you enter may contain personal information or other unexpected details. You can inspect the displayed report before deciding whether to send it.
Cosmic Noon PTY LTD uses submitted reports only to investigate crashes, provide support, improve iNoon's reliability and security, and prevent similar failures. Submitted reports are stored in the backend of the iNoon website hosted by Hostinger. Crash reports are stored and processed in Australia.
Access is limited to authorised people and service providers who need the information for those purposes. Reports are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate and resolve crashes, improve reliability, meet applicable legal obligations, and maintain the security of the service. They are then deleted or made anonymous.
6. Local Logs and Support
iNoon may create other local logs on your Mac to help diagnose issues. These logs are not automatically sent to Cosmic Noon PTY LTD.
If you contact support, you choose what information to include. Cosmic Noon PTY LTD uses support correspondence, which may include your name, email address, and message content, to respond to and manage your request. It is retained only while reasonably necessary for those purposes and applicable legal obligations.
7. Website and Service Providers
The iNoon website is www.inoon.app and is hosted by Hostinger. Hostinger processes submitted crash reports on behalf of Cosmic Noon PTY LTD as described above. Website hosting, email, payment, distribution, and external AI services may have their own privacy practices when you choose to interact with them.
8. Security
Cosmic Noon PTY LTD takes reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect submitted crash reports from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Reports are transmitted over HTTPS, stored in Australia, and restricted to authorised access. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Because most iNoon data remains local, your Mac security also matters. Use macOS account security, FileVault, backups, and safe folder permissions to protect device data and exports.
9. Access, Correction, Deletion, and Complaints
You may ask whether Cosmic Noon PTY LTD holds personal information about you and request access, correction, or deletion by emailing info@inoon.app. Because crash reports are not tied to an iNoon account, include enough information to help locate a report without sending unnecessary personal information. Some requests may be limited where identification is not reasonably possible or retention is required by law.
To make a privacy complaint, email info@inoon.app with details of the issue. Cosmic Noon PTY LTD will investigate and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied and the Australian Privacy Act applies, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
10. Children
iNoon is not directed to children. Cosmic Noon PTY LTD does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through crash reporting or support.
11. Changes
Cosmic Noon PTY LTD may update this Privacy Policy when the way iNoon handles information changes. The updated policy and effective date will be made available in the application and on the website.
12. Contact
Questions, privacy requests, and complaints can be sent to info@inoon.app.
