This policy explains the current iNoon Mobile app for iPhone and iPad. The separately distributed desktop app and website have their own privacy information.
1. What stays on your device
Your documents, media, file names, tags, previews, playback preferences and app settings are processed locally. iNoon Mobile does not upload this content to Cosmic Noon. No iNoon account is required. We do not operate a mobile cloud-storage service.
2. No app tracking or analytics
The current mobile app does not send usage statistics or crash reports to Cosmic Noon and does not include advertising or cross-app tracking. We do not sell your personal information. Apple may collect diagnostics or provide distribution information under your Apple settings and Apple’s own privacy policy.
4. Computer sync settings
Sync exchanges files directly with computers you authorise over USB or Wi-Fi, not through Cosmic Noon’s servers. A hidden Documents/.iNoon folder holds a sync catalogue: computer identifiers, names and platforms, sync identifiers and names, folder paths, options and timestamps. It contains no credentials or security bookmarks. Authorised computers can read it, and you can review or remove syncs in Settings. The desktop app’s own privacy policy covers its separate data handling.
5. Deleting files and syncs
Files remain until you delete or move them, a configured sync changes them, or the app is deleted. Removing a sync stops that configuration; it does not erase existing copies or revoke the computer’s system-level trust. A removal requested on mobile may remain pending until the relevant computer reconnects and acknowledges it. Manage backups and previously shared copies separately.
6. Support and website visits
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and anything you attach. We use this information to answer your request and retain it only as needed for support and legal obligations. Email providers process correspondence. Opening a website link leaves the app; the site and hosting providers may process request information, including your IP address, under that site’s privacy policy.
7. Privacy requests and changes
For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, or complaints, contact info@inoon.app. We cannot access files kept only on your device or computer; manage those locally. We may need enough information to identify support correspondence, and legal retention requirements may apply. Changes to this policy will be dated and published in the app and on the website.
